The Soft Charm of Female Leaders: A Literature Review Based on African Female Leadership
Leadership, as a hot topic, has always attracted widespread attention from scholars. In recent years, with more and more women taking the lead, we have to re-examine the importance of research on women's leadership. This study focuses on African countries with a patriarchal background, sorts out the relevant literature on African women's leadership from 2003 to 2024 in the Web of Science database, and uses a combination of bibliometrics and content analysis methods to build a research framework for African women's leadership. The results show that the existing achievements in related fields are not rich, mainly involving the obstacles and promoting factors encountered by African women in development, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of female leaders, the overall research lacks a systematic review. This study aims to make a systematic literature review, enrich the existing research results, and look forward to future research.
