Abstract

Evidence-based practice is the priority of development in the field of social work practice in the west and currently it covers almost all related aspects. Examples of evidence are manifested on the micro, meso and macro levels. After sorting out the devel- opment of evidence-based practice in the west and comparing it with its domestic coun- terpart, this paper finds that the latter still remains to be improved in terms of scientific evidence, high-level evidence, standardized scales, and groups of people and field expan- sion. Besides, this paper proposes that the evidence-based social work practice entails sci- ence-oriented, specialized and ethics-driven development.
