Research on Innovative Paths for Virtual Reality Technology to Empower the International Communication of Chinese Culture—Taking the VR Large Space Experience “Look at Me: The Central Axis of Heaven and Earth” as an Example
Facing the major issues of global cultural digital competition and the struggle for international discourse power, there is an urgent need to explore how to effectively use technological means to empower the international communication of excellent Chinese culture. This paper proposes taking Virtual Reality (VR) technology as a breakthrough point, establishing the core concepts of “spatial narrative, emotional resonance, and digital translation”, and promoting the implementation of this path through an immersive narrative method combining “major IP+strong technology” and “light narrative+deep emotion”, as well as a cultural export model of “multimodal output+user experience closed loop”. Research shows that immersive technologies represented by VR, through innovative expression and communication mechanisms, can significantly enhance the effectiveness of the international communication of Chinese culture, providing important support for building a Chinese discourse system in the global digital space and promoting exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations.
